Provisional Registration

IF COMPANY OWNERS

  • Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
  • Power of Attorney (who is authorized to sign on behalf of the company)
  • Good Standing Certificate (if company established one year and above)

IF INDIVIDUAL

  • Certified True Copy of Passport

The following documentation is required

  • Request for confirmation of availability of vessel's name
  • Proof of Ownership in the form of a Bill of Sale
  • Application for Registration of Ships form duly completed and signed by the applicant. (download). One application for each vessel is required.
  • Application for Radio Frequency Spectrum) includes the necessary information for the issuance of a Provisional Ship Station License, MMSI No. and Call Sign (download)
  • Declaration of Eligibility for Ownership and Nationality. (download)
  • Crew List for the issuance of Minimum Safe Manning Certificate. (download)
  • Owner's Declaration of Vessels Non-Involvement with Criminal Acts or Omissions (download)
  • Notice of Appointment of Representative Person (ISM Manager) (download)
  • Auction Document or Builder's Certificate or Letter of Undertaking stated that within 45 days, the owner has to submit the Original Deletion Certificate. (LOU download)
  • Power of Attorney appointing a shipping agent (RJ Maritime) (POA download)
  • Applications for the Endorsements of Licenses for officers (download)
  • Valid Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate in compliance with GMDSS Code (where applicable)
  • International Tonnage Certificate 1969
  • Proof of compliance with ISM Code - Copy of Document of Compliance and Safety Management Certificate (where applicable)
  • Proof of compliance with ISPS Code - Copy of ISSC and CSR (where applicable)
  • IMO Number
  • Payment of Initial and annual registration fees

For provisional registration, the abovementioned documents may be submitted by fax or scan copy attached via email. Vessels under construction may be granted provisional registration under special conditions.
